Konatian Canines is a licensed kennel raising Shih Tzus, Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherd Dogs from fully health-tested lines, formerly Kennel Club Assured Breeders.

We were Assured Breeders with The Kennel Club until the scheme was withdrawn, having held the highest of standards throughout — standards we continue to uphold to this day. All of our dogs are named starting with "Konatian" — a name now renowned for breeding Shih Tzus, Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherd Dogs.
Every dog we breed comes from fully health-tested parents, chosen for health and temperament, with neither ever compromised upon. We've bred these breeds for over 30 years and can often be seen at local shows as well as Championship Shows including Crufts.
All of our puppies are raised in our busy family home alongside our other dogs and pet cats, so they're used to household noises like the television and the hoover from day one. They're also regularly handled by our young grandchildren and many other visitors, giving them brilliant early socialisation.
Health certificates for all of our dogs can be seen on request.
